I don't know where you have already checked, but besides Lauda-Königshofen (http://www.lauda-koenigshofen.de/index.php?id=20) you could try in Bad Mergentheim which has a lot of hotels and is 8km away from the KIT (http://www.bad-mergentheim.de).
