Hey guys,

I know most everyone here probably already has this album... especially the CD version, but if you don't - I just offered it as a digital-only release on Bandcamp. You can download it as FLAC, WAV or MP3 ....and there are LYRICS, which if any of you got the orignal CD version, there were no lyrics in it.

Still love the debut a lot!

Dustin, it is very nice, to offer the songs of your first CD to every one, who do not know them. I am owing every "Katagory V" CD. But there are two songs, I would like to listen to. There are two different releases of "Hymns Of Dissension". One has been published for the USA and one for overseas. I have overseas edition. On the USA-release are two different songs: "Enemy" and "Sands of Time" (Re-recording). In this two songs I am very interested.

@rapanzel - Thank you, I am happy to hear Present Day it is still your favorite! Since so many people enjoy it - maybe one day we will eventually release it on vinyl


@Heiko - The U.S. Version with the Bonus tracks "Enemy" and "Sands of Time" (Re-recording) is available on bandcamp as well

You can also listen to the full songs as well as download them seperatley if you like. I am working on putting the last few remaining CD's of this version on there, but I have to take an inventory of what is left first from what Nightmare Record sent me.

I'd love to have that one on vinyl with a vinyl master.

If a label is intersted in doing a limited pressing on vinyl, and they contact me directly, I would be willing to discuss licencing it with them

Not to complain about a vinyl release of the debut album, but a small run of a cd reissue would be incredibly cool, too. As previously stated, most of those collector guys would surely avoid buying a download; the physical stuff is always the first choice. As far as I'm concerned I'd prefer a cd version, for practical reasons. Anyways, availability on vinyl is better than downloads only.

To go even further:
Maybe there would be chances that a label would re-release the first album with the newest album as bonus CD or vice versa?

That would be incredibly cool.

Regarding the fact that there are quite some labels around putting out stuff that's much less exciting and less "relevant", I wonder why there seems to be nobody really interested in such a project. Be it as a double-pack or as seperate releases.

I would love also to re-release it on CD, with an expanded booklet, photos, history, and lyrics, but at this time it is not financially possible. If a label wanted to license it as CD and release it, then it would be more likely to happen.

I too have been asking myself this same question for over 5 years now…
