It is in the works and the songwriting is nearly done. I am trying to finalize the lineup (and I have some AMAZING players who I am trying to lock in). Some guys have some prior commitments that mean they will not be able to record until the beginning of 2012 but that is OK by me because the new songs are really taking this band to a new level and the new players are incredible! This album will surprise people I think. It's been a long time coming and this new effort will show that a lot of hard work has taken place in the interim.

Sorry to derail the thread, just wanted to make sure I responded to rapanzel and anyone else who might be interested in what we are up to.

Back on topic though, I do enjoy the reviews (even if I don't always agree with them) and hope Snakepit will continue to provide great highly-opinionated album reviews! So many mags seem to kiss up to the major labels but Snakepit's reviews come straight from the heart.

The mags arrived safely, great stuff and the Griffin 7´ rocks as well. Grab your copy for a fair price at KIT festival.

Wow, got mine with colored vinyl... awesome!!! Laurent, you continue to amaze with your interviews and layout. It's just excellent. The in depth nature of the interviews is a great value for money since it takes me so damn long to read them! haha
I personally look forward to and like to read the album/demo/EP reviews. If everyone agreed with you on them, it would be a boring world. At least the honest point of view makes it real, and not some sell-out bullshit like other mags. I say keep them (or if you want, you can send me the promos and I will review them like before... no problem).
