I have made the new release "official", but we're still working on exactly how and when it will be released. I am still finalizing the mixes and we should have everything mastered in a few weeks, but in the meantime I added a few samples from the "new" SUFFERING HOUR for those who are curious about how these old songs turned out 20+ years later. The REASON material sounds just as good if not better, so we hope everyone will like it.

Many bands have re-recorded their old material in recent years, for better or for worse, but I (and the rest of the band) have put as much of my heart into these new recording as anything Anacrusis ever did. We have really tried to re-create the old albums as best as possible while cleaning things up and *hopefully* presenting them the way we have always wished we could have all those years ago. The rushed and often haphazard production really kept a lot of people from digging into what we feel were some of our best songs. Of course we can never "replace" the originals, but we hope everyone will appreciate the time and care we have put into the new versions.

I just wanted to post this small preview. We're really looking forward to KIT and we'll see you all the show!

Can´t await the Keep It True.

Will the "Hindsight" CDs be available at the Keep it true?

Thanks to everyone for all of the words of encouragement.

Yes, the new CDs are being manufactured next week and we will have them available at the festival.

We will also have a limited number of DVDs from our 1993 Screams & Whispers album release show that I re-edited a few years ago with additional footage. Sorry they will not be PAL format, but we wanted to make them available for the die-hard fans who can still watch them on their PC or convert them from NTSC if their DVD player won't play US discs.

We are looking forward to playing for you all and meeting and hanging out with as many people as we can!

Ich muss hier mal eine kleine Geschichte los werden:

Ich habe bisher Anacrusis nie wirklich war genommen. Ich hatte sogar vor, sie nicht auf dem KIT zu sehen....
Aber dann habe ich das Rehearsal Video gesehen und mir gedacht "die scheinen echt gut zu sein...". Seit dem habe ich mir ein paar Lieder im Internet angehört und gemerkt das diese Musik nur geil ist. Unbeschreiblich das Gefühl, das ich habe wenn ich Anacrusis höre. Daher freue ich mich sehr auf die Rerecordings der ersten zwei Alben, da ich gemerkt habe, dass man die nicht grad leicht herbekommt.
In dem Sinne: Viel Spaß allen auf dem Keep It True, vor allem bei Anacrusis. Ich werde ihn haben.

PS: Viele mögen diese Geschichte für uninteressant halten, aber für mich sind Anacrusis die nächste große Band. Hab in der letzten Zeit keine Band gehört die mich so fasziniert hat!

I remember buying "Suiffering Hour" on Vinyl back in 88. I had never heard of the Band before and I bought the LP because of the cover. I`ve never regret. "Present Tense", "Fighting Evil", "A World To Gain" are still some of my absolute favourits. Can`t wait to hear those brilliant tunes live..
