ANNOUNCEMENT: WARLORD -- "Live Line-Up" ------- First let me say this. When Mark, Rick, and I embarked on this new venture of doing a new Warlord album, I had no intention of doing any live shows, mostly because of my health situation (as many of you know). However, when we were invited by Oliver Weinsheimer of 'KEEP IT TRUE' to headline that German festival, and when I received clearance from my doctor that I could physically endure such a trip to Europe, suddenly we were approached by Greek promoters as well. Now, Thessaloniki and Athens were on the table. I realized (along with Mark) that the Warlord fans would primarily want to hear "classic Warlord." And as you know, there is a distinction between the "classic Warlord" sound and the "new Warlord" sound (which will one day become "classic" as well). Although Rick is the perfect (ideal) singer for the "new" Warlord, I knew we had to find someone who could approximate the "higher range" style of the early Warlord vocalists. I had heard our friend "Giles Lavery" sing "Lucifer's Hammer" already and I asked him to send me an audition tape of five songs . . . here, you will find excerpts from that audition tape (no 20 minute trailer here), and you will understand "why" I (we) decided to go with someone like "Giles," who is not only a great vocalist in the higher range (as well as the AOR style), but he is someone who has been a Warlord fan since his youth, and is a person who understands the mindset of "the Warlord fan." In sum, "Rick is better suited to sing the new Warlord material while Giles is better suited to sing the classic Warlord material." So, here is a taste of "Giles Lavery" as the Warlord vocalist for the upcoming live shows. Geht mir genauso. Hatte mich ziemlich auf den Razorwyre-Auftritt gefreut. Das "Another dimension"-Album find ich schon sehr stark.

Das ist kein Problem, das mit seinem Magen hat er seit zig Jahren...er kommt deswegen auch schon am 10 April um sich zu aklimatisieren.

Hallo Freunde,

es gibt Neuigkeiten zum anstehenden KEEP IT TRUE Festival.

Leider haben die Neuseeländer RAZORWYRE ihren Auftritt absagen müssen, da sich ihr Schlagzeuger letzte Woche beide Arme gebrochen hat und sie keinen Ersatz finden konnten. Das ist wirklich sehr tragisch.

Wir konnten kurzfristig aber einen tollen Ersatz in Form von den belgischen Speed Metallern EVIL INVADERS auftreiben, die nun die Openerposition am Samstag einnehmen werden.

Endlich können wir nun auch die Running Order und die Signing Session Zeiten enthüllen. Falls ihr euch wundert, warum Liege Lord vor Possessed spielen, lasst euch gesagt sein, dass dies der Wunsch von Liege Lord war und sie auf jeden Fall ihre kompletten 80 Minuten Headlinershow spielen werden.



Zudem wird es natürlich wie immer am KIT die DVD vom 2012er KIT und natürlich auch schon Karten für KIT 2014 an unserem Merchandise Stand zu erwerben geben.

Der Ticketpreis für 2014 wird 55 Euro betragen. Wir mussten den Preis leider mehr als üblich erhöhen, weil uns die Kosten für GEMA, Ausländersteuer und viele andere gestiegenen Kosten regelrecht erschlagen. Trotzdem sind wie im europäischen Vergleich für Underground Festivals immer noch recht günstig und wir hoffen auf euer Verständnis für diese Maßnahme.

But we could get a great replacement with Belgian Speed Metal newcomers EVIL INVADERS, who will open the Saturday now.

Finally we can also present the Running Order and the Signing Session times. If you may wonder why Liege Lord is playing before Possessed, it was the wish of Liege Lord to do so…as you see they will play their full 80 minutes.

Also there will be the DVD from KIT 2012 be available at our merchandise stand and of course also the tickets for KIT 2014.

The ticket price for 2014 will be 55 Euros. We had to increase the price because the costs for foreign band tax, GEMA and many more risen costs is killing us right now. But we are still doing ok with the ticket price when you compare European festivals, so we hope you will understand.

Liege Lord vor Possessed find ich eine gute Sache, nach dem Geprügel wären LL wahrscheinlich ziemlich untergegangen. Der Ticketpreis geht auch völlig in Ordnung.

Also ich empfinde die Uhrzeit für Liege Lord ebenfalls als sehr angenehm, da sollten dann auch tatsächlich noch ein paar Reserven bei mir vorhanden sein
Zum Ticketpreis: Alles im grünen Bereich, ich würde für ein Festival wie das KIT auch ohne mit der Wimper zu zucken 80 Euro bezahlen.

Der tausch macht sicherlich Sinn, wobei ich mich Frage wie die halle dann wohl bei Possessed aussehen wird. Nach Liege Lord brauch ich warscheinlich erstmal einen Sitzplatz und 2-3kühle Bier.
Ansonsten weiß die RO zu gefallen, Samstag ein bisschen entspannter als Freitag. Air Raid müssen für mich wohl ausfallen, aber das dürfte zu verkraften sein.
