I'm more worried about the ones having shows in Europe before the fest and flying today or tomorrow.

Anway, this will be a really special KIT for sure! We are thinking about going by car from Spain if we cannot fly

Looks like I'll have a hard time attending as well, as I have flights from Copenhagen thursday. Crap!

I've just read in the newspaper, that a guy took a taxi from zurich to copenhagen and he paid 4000 swiss franks.

Some airports open again (Poland, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Spain) but Germany is still not opening any of the airports*. It's gettin' better every day, I'm sure.

Allmählich nervt das Ganze.
Nach den Testflügen vorgestern hier im Westen Hollands (Flughafen Schiphol ist 20 Minuten von Amsterdam entfernt) ist die Kritik an die Kompetenz der europäischen Flugbehörden gehörig gewachsen. Zwar ist die Aschwolke da, aber die Dichte wurde gar nicht gemessen: dazu reichen die technischen Mitteln nicht.
In den USA und Süd-Amerika, zum Beispiel, gilt ein Spezialprotokoll in diesen Situationen. Nichts von dieser Expertise ist hier bisher berücksichtigt worden. Die Massnahmen sind, insofern ich das Ganze als Laie einschätzen kann, vor allem von Unwissen und Panikmacherei gefärbt und als solches ein einziges Desaster. Und merke: später wird man uns erzählen: 'Nächstes Mal haben wir das im Griff.'

Obwohl ich zähneknirschend akzeptieren muss, dass wir Fifth Angel, WatchTower, Hades und Obsession aller Wahrscheinlichkeit nach nicht zur Gesicht bekommen, tut es mir vor allem Leid für Oli und Tarek, die sich ja jedesmal zu 300% für dieses GENIALE Festival ins Zeug legen. Der isländische Aschescheisser kann mich mal, ich bin in Lauda egal was passiert.

Naja, also ähm, ich wollte nicht morgen irgendwo lesen, dass bei IK nur Alkoholiker arbeiten.
