wir sind froh euch gleich den Headliner unseres neunten METAL ASSAULT Festivals bekannt geben zu können.

Nach den zwei fantastischen Auftritten am KEEP IT TRUE haben FIFTH ANGEL eine sagenhafte neue Platte aufgenommen, die bereits jetzt auf den vorderen Plätzen der Soundchecks der meisten Magazine zu finden ist. Freuen wir uns auf den erst dritten Auftritt dieser legendären Band in Europa, diesmal auch mit Originaldrummer Ken Mary!!

Wir sind extrem stolz, euch eine sehr spezielle Old School Show von GEOFF TATE'S OPERATION MINDCRIME präsentieren zu können. Geoff wird ausschließlich Songs der EP, The Warning, Rage For Order und Operation Mindcrime zum Besten geben. Er hat inzwischen eine Top Band um sich herum und ist selber in hervorragender Form. Das wird eine einzigartige Show!!

We are extremely proud that we could book GEOFF TATE'S OPERTION MINDCRIME with a very special old school set for Metal Assault. Geoff will perform only songs from the EP, The Warning, Rage For Order and Operation Mindcrime. He has a great band now and he himself is in top shape. This will be a unique event for all the fans of his former band!!

Die Mindcrime-Only-Show in Essen im Frühjahr (als Vorband von Angra) war super.

Ich hoffe auf möglichst viel von der EP und von Warning. Von Rage for Order die Übersongs Walk in the Shadows und The Whisper. Dazu nur noch ein bisserl Mindcrime, die er sonst ja bei jeder anderen Show voll durchspielt.

Hallo Freunde,
wir sind froh euch die nächste Band unseres neunten METAL ASSAULT Festivals bekannt geben zu können.
Nach den unglaublich tollen Auftritten am KIT und UTH im Athen wollten wir auf jeden Fall die Britische Epic NWOBHM Band SARACEN zurück nach Deutschland holen. Das ist uns hiermit gelungen.
Wie ihr merkt, wird die Ausrichtung des METAL ASSAULT Festivals melodischer, was auch beabsichtigt ist, da es momentan extrem viele Festivals für Death und Thrash Metal gibt und wir hier etwas neue Wege gehen wollen. Saracen ist zwar eine klassische KIT Band, aber die weiteren Bands werden noch etwas mehr in diese Richtung gehen. Das trägt auch dazu bei, das Metal Assault weiter vom KIT abzugrenzen.

Hi Friends,
we are happy, that we can announce the next band for the ninth METAL ASSAULT Festival.
After the godlike gigs at KIT and UTH in Athens we needed to bring back British Epic NWOBHM pioneers SARACEN back to Germany.

As you see, Metal Assault is having a more melodic direction right now and that is well intended. Of course Saracen is a classic KIT band, but the upcoming bands will also be in the more melodic genre, because there are so many festivals for Thrash and Death Metal lately and we also want to make Metal Assault more different to KIT. So we hope you will follow us on this too
