Hallo Freunde

Wir sind mächtig stolz, euch die nächste Band für KEEP IT TRUE 2012 bekannt geben zu können. Es sind keine geringeren als die legendären Kanadier ANVIL. Wir haben lange daran gearbeitet, dass die Jungs um Lips endlich am großen KIT co-headlinen können und nun endlich wird der Traum wahr. Ohne Bands wie ANVIL hätte es wahrscheinlich nie ein KEEP IT TRUE Festival gegeben. Der eiserne Willen von Lips ohne sich für kommerziellen Erfolg zu verdrehen ist auch ein Vorbild für die Ideale unseres Festivals und deswegen fiebern wir der Show schon heute entgegen. „Metal On Metal....its the only way“.

Des weiteren konnten wir noch die amerikanischen Old School Thrasher FUELED BY FIRE verpflichten, die mit ihrer neuen CD wohl eins der besten Thrash Alben des Jahres veröffentlicht haben.

Schon bald werden wir hoffentlich die letzten beiden Bands (Samstag Headliner und Co-Headliner) bekannt geben können. Wenn alles klappt wird es was Sensationelles werden…also Daumen drücken.

Hi Friends,

we are extremely happy that we can announce the next band for KEEP IT TRUE 2012. We are able to confirm that canadian legends ANVIL will co-headline KEEP IT TRUE 2012.
Finally we could get Lips and the boys for the big KIT again after they were totally killer on the warm up show some years ago. Without bands like ANVIL a festival like KIT would never had happened, cause the true metal attitude of Lips and the undying spirit to fight for his music without changing for commercial reasons were a huge inspiration for us to do KIT. So we are really glad we have them back to do a killer performance again. „Metal On Metal....its the only way“.

Also we can confirm US thrashers FUELED BY FIRE for KIT 2012, who have released one of the best thrash album in years and also did a killer set on KIT X some years ago….

We hope we can finally announce the long anticipated Saturday headliner and the next co-headliner for KIT 2012 very soon. If everything works out it can be a real sensation, so keep your fingers crossed.
