SSR-TK12-161 STARBORN - The Dreaming City

STARBORN - The Dreaming City (Trend Killers #12) - sophomore release by the upcoming UK Heavy/Power quintet from Newcastle Upon Tune. Heavily influenced by the 80s US Power metal masters, STARBORN is all about muscular guitar riffing, thundering rhythms, piercing vocals, and flaming guitar solos. If you like bands such as Fates Warning, early Blind Guardian, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Liege Lord, and Metal Church, this one is for you!

Release date: June 17, 2015 (release date is tentative and subject to change without notice!)

I agree, it is a very good record. The epic titletrack is fantastic.

Yes, definitely one for me as well. If this band were to come up in a contest themed 'Who are they and where do they come from?' , I'd have answered 'No idea which band it is, but I'd say they're from the US.'
The singer sounds like he's running after the last bus that's just leaving, which, for this maniacal brand of metal, is a big plus.

Yes, Mr. Turnbull is an amazing singer. Wait 'til you hear the titletrack. That one is absolutely fantastic.
