Here's a preliminary sketch of the artowork for the upcoming CHEMICAL ANNIHILATION - Anthology CD release. It will include their album from 1988 for first time on CD ever + demos + live cuts + videos + interactive multimedia section

Fans of 80s US thrash metal should take notice.

Now THAT'S what I call a cool artwork.
This would be a perfect Job for Ed Repka

To be honest I thought of commissioning Repka for this cover, but I had a spot already reserved with Dimitar and that tipped the scales. But I'll use Repka, Leo Hao, or one of the other artists I'm keeping an eye on one of these days for sure.

Since 2006 when I discovered Dimitar he got widely popular and nowadays every fellow indy label tends to use him, and I want to stand apart from the crowd sometimes I like discovering new unknown artists like Marina Kleyman which did a fantastic job with EKZISTENCIA, or Miss Candra with SERGEANT 1984

Please don't get me wrong, Dimitar does excellent artworks. But the cover theme ist just so typical for Repka, it just jumped into my mind
I#t as you said. I remember the artworks by Andres Marshall back in the 80's and early 90's. From one day to another, every band, no matter what genre, hab a Marshal cover and he became boring to me. The best work he did was the WARDANCE album, a hell of a cover
