IK005 & IK006 THE GATES OF SLUMBER - Suffer no guilt & The Awakening on vinyl

We are proud to announce the release of THE GATES OF SLUMBER's milestones of true doom "Suffer no guilt" and "The Awakening" on vinyl. Our thanks go out to the band and Peter from I Hate Records for giving us the chance to release these monsters of heavyweight true metal on black gold. Especially the raw and epic sound of "Suffer no guilt" should benefit from the transfer to vinyl.

Indianapolis doom metal trio THE GATES OF SLUMBER formed in the late 1990?s with the goal of creating a band whose sound delivered an updated take on the member?s long list of favorite heavy metal greats. Weaned on Black Sabbath, St. Vitus, the melodic might of Iron Maiden and a host of classic bands from Thin Lizzy to Mercyful Fate, THE GATES OF SLUMBER draw deep from heavy metal's most powerful blood and deliver doom in its purest form.
In 2008 The Gates of Slumber are one of the leading forces of underground metal worldwide. Their latest output "Conqueror" is the definition of what True Heavy Metal should sound like in third millenium. Powerful, epic and insanely heavy - on par with the best of the best: Manilla Road, early Manowar, Rainbow. With plans for serious worldwide touring on behalf of "Conqueror" (e.g. Keep it True XII), THE GATES OF SLUMBER is out to show why it is regarded as one of the most talked about new true doom / heavy metal bands today.

The vinyl re-releases of "Suffer no guilt" and "The Awakening" will give you the unique chance to see, where these ?Axe smashing, bare chested, mega muscled, mighty thewed, old school DOOM metal?

Die Platzierung und Farbe des Logos sind natürlich noch nicht endgültig.

Als Bonusmaterial gibt's voraussichtlich:
- das komplette "Sabbath Witch"-Demo
- das komplette "Blood encrusted deth axe"-Demo
- den bislang völlig unveröffentlichten Song "Creature"

Insgesamt also gut 45 Minuten unveröffentlichtes Zeugs.
