I like the XINR examples, very special stuff. Lich King sounds far better on their debut, really killer riffing and the vocals aren't that bad anymore (not sure but it feels like).

Yeah, me too! Great, very original stuff!

The cover is brillant, BTW.
For all the words unspoken, for all the deeds undone,
for all our shattered dreams, for all the songs unsung,
for all the lines unwritten and all our broken hearts,
for all our wounds still bleeding and all our kingdoms come.

Yep, XINR definitely is the one I'm looking forward to most. Love that 'heavy metal antiques' sound with those Tim Baker-like vocals.

I'm glad you like the samples. Keep in mind that those are lo-fi mp3PRO samples at 80kbps, which in case of Lich King is not necessarily a bad thing

I've collected all 4 releases except Hellhound last friday and already started preparing packages to be mailed out from monday onwards. the pressing plant promised to deliver Hellhound to me on monday (they made an excuse with the thanksgiving holiday), and hopefully I'll be packing and shipping out orders which include Hellhounds from tuesday onwards.

The discs (XINR, Hellhound and TC nr. 3) have arrived - and in relatively unharmed condition, whew! Thanks, Iordan.
Once again, the high Stormspell standard of presentation has been maintained, protective sleeves included. Being a fan of many things Japanese, a special mention must go to those wonderfully stylish obi thingies. :)

I love the XINR album Beyond woodward - obscure eighties metal excellence that will probably make it into my best of list for 2008. All fans of that archaic stuff in the vein of Cirith Ungol (vocals, guitar sound) and early Mercyful Fate (atmosphere) with a bit of seventies occult rock and NWoBHM influences thrown in for good measure: check it out.

Hey there, I'm glad your package made it to you (in contrast to many other German buyers who still wait for theirs, German customs seems to be a big du bist schwines these days

Anyway, I hope that "Relatively unharmed" is nothing serious. Please let me know if there was any sort of problem.
