This one is shopping list material for me. Extraordinary vocals (the singer has a bit of a Joe Cocker thing about his movements, too), top-notch musicianship. Plus real songwriting instead of the two-riffs-and-fill-in-the-rest-until-three-minutes-are-up type of thrash all too often found these days. The solo after the break (around 3:56 or so) is melodic and ripping and the same time.

I'm not the biggest fan of the vocals to be honest, but the band totally rips and there are some twin guitar harmonies on the album totally out of this world! Amazing songwriting with complex songs which actually build up and evolve. It is quite a trip to listen to it, given it is a self-released debut album by a brand new band... Excellent!

Too melodic for you, then, that vocalist?

He is a good solid vocalist, just a touch too modern, for the die-hard oldschool thrasher I am ;).
