WHILE HEAVEN WEPT "Vast Oceans Lachrymose"

Hello everyone,
I thought to send you a brief note on the WHILE HEAVEN WEPT album, which is to be officially released in Germany next week (6/11).
First of all, my most sincere gratitude to all the people on this board who have helped out spreading news on this release.

Of the all CRUZ DEL SUR MUSIC releases this has been the most suffered.
The other day I was checking the whw folder on my PC and noticed that the first recording budget plans went back to November 2006. Three years ago.
Something I have learnt from this business is that rushing artists is no good.
In the case of WHW, let's say that before summer 09 I had to put some pressure on Tom in order to make this happen in November instead of January/February.
Tom is such a great musician and a perfectionist. That's probably the main reason why the album did not came out earlier, with Tom finding until the last minute available, any possible solution to make this album sound better. So close to perfection Tom wanted his "son" to be, that the mp3s that were used for promotion are 50% of the audio quality of the album. But time was running short and we had to use those.
Neverthless the response from the media has been and still it is overwhelming... I know Tom is very proud of that for the years he has spent on this album, and all the personal issues he ahs been through...

Regarding the pre-orders and combo from our site, I can finally say that all have been sent out between wednesday, yesterday and today. Thanks to everyone who has ordered the cd and/or the shirts, I just would like to remind that the combos will be online only until the release date, next friday.

As you know WHILE HEAVEN WEPT will be performing at the HAMMER OF DOOM III in Würzburg on the 6th of Feb 2010. We (the band and I) will be looking forward to meet you there!

The CD is absolutely fantastic. Got it on Monday and it hasn't left my players ever since!!!!!!!!!!!!
