Morbid Sin was formed by Bobby Lucas (ex-SEVEN WITCHES and current OVERLORDE singer) in 1985 during his senior year of High School. Influenced by bands like Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Overkill, Mercyful Fate, and Exciter, MORBID SIN was a blend of tempo-changes, heavy chugging riffs, piercing screams, melody, and bombastic drumming.

"Sins of the Flesh" was the one and only MS album so far. Recorded back in 1998, but shelved and never released until today. Fans of US classic/power metal a-la HELSTAR, SEVEN WITCHES, OVERLORDE, RAVENSTHORN, etc. should take note.

Expected release date: February 2010

Holy f****, good job!!

But the cover really should be much more primitive, old-school, drawn-with-your-left-hand-even-if-you're-right-handed... :tong2:

Na, just kidding, i think i need this. I'll put on myspace at home and see if the music lives up to the art.

Bobby Lucas drew the cover himself. You cannot see it from the scan, but it is drawn with magic markers (borrowed from his daughter) on the cheapest piece of paper he could find... cant get more metal than that, haha!

Uriah Heep's 'Abominog' cover monster reinvented with magic markers -if that isn't metal, I honest to God don't know what is.
