mich würde interessieren, ob die Ogre-Alben noch über euer Label als Vinyl wiederveröffentlicht werden, wie es einst für den Sommer 2009 verkündet wurde. Wäre doch schade, wenn ihr nur noch von Megasellern wie While Heaven Wept leben würdet. ;-)

Aus deiner Antwort werde ich nicht so recht schlau. Könnt ihr nichts mehr zusätzlich planen, weil ihr bereits Ogre (und weitere Bands) in Planung habt oder fallen Ogre hinten runter, weil andere Bands - völlig wertungsfrei gemeint - eine höhere Priorität genießen?

Ich hab grad keine Zeit für ausführliche Erklärungen, aber ich muss alle VÖs gut einplanen, aus terminlicher wie finanzieller Sicht.
Und wenn Bands sich dann einfach ewig nicht melden, dann müssen sie leider damit rechnen, dass ich das nicht einfach spontan zwischen die geplanten Releases packen kann.
Dank neuem Job wollte ich eigentlich nicht mehr als 5-6 VÖs dieses Jahr machen, und jetzt sinds schon mind. 6 bis April.
Ich kann also leider im Moment nichts versprechen...

"Plague of the Planet" has just been released in a super limited edition DVD-audio quadraphonic mix!! As a big fan of vintage quad mixes and other surround music, I've been dreaming about this ever since we first released the album, and now it's actually become a reality. The quad mix is being released by the Quadro-Surround label out of Germany, which specializes in limited pressing quad mixes of modern albums. Up until now, the label has only released jazz, folk, classical, and Latin music, but it was looking to expand into the rock world and OGRE is its first rock/metal release. The album was completely remixed from the master tapes into quad and also includes a bonus track of a quad mix of "Colossus" from our first album. This DVD will play in Dolby Surround on any DVD-player, provided you have a surround set up (e.g. for movies), but if you have a player that decodes DVD-audio, then you will be able to hear it in hi-resolution, lossless sound. As an added bonus, if your player is hooked up to your TV, the music is accompanied by a slideshow that features expanded album artwork by Will, with an image for every section of the song!

There were only 100 copies pressed, and the band only has a few to sell at our gig, so if you're interested in getting a copy, please order directly from the Quadro-Surround website. The site is rather rudimentary, but Dietrich (who runs the label) is a straight-up guy. E-mail him, pay through PayPal, and he'll get it right out to you. The disc is a little pricier than a CD, but it's pretty much in-line with the cost of most DVD-audio releases.

Echt? ich hab in der Zwischenzeit schon 3, 4 Mal mit ihm geschrieben. Für 2 Stück habe ich insgesamt 19$ geschickt, ziemlich fairer Kurs, denke ich. Wenn ich früher an dich gedacht hätte, wäre eine Gruppenbestellung natürlich geschickt gewesen, sorry
