To commemorate the first ever European show of AMULANCE conquering H:O:A at the end of July, we are going to release a special EP called "Deutschland"

The EP will contain 5 brand new exclusive tracks, some of which were written back in the 80s but never recorded properly until now. the EP will be limited to only 500 hand-numbered copies and will also serve as a pilot for the upcoming full-length album.

For the same occasion we'll also re-press "RAGE Within and the Aftermath" CD, which has been our best-selling item so far and out of print and getting hard to find since 2008. It will be a small one-time re-press limited to 500 with different booklet design so the band can have copies to sell at H:O:A and recoup traveling expenses.

If you are going to visit H:O:A, please support the band and look them up to buy those releases directly from them. For everyone else which will not attend to the festival, we will have some copies to sell, plus the regular distributors which support Stormspell (Salute and big thanks for the ongoing support to all of you!)

The guy on the cover is my neighbour... :-D

Hehe, nice cover, silly title, but that doesn't matter anyway. I'm curious about the songs!

Well, actually the title doesn't matter, if the content is great, so it's not a big thing. But still I wonder what link might be there between the cover and the title... - if any.

HMM.

Ah, I thought Germans are rough grumpy dudes living in drafty castles and sprouting extra teeth and nails when exposed to moonlight

Seriously, there is no link between the title and the cover.

The title was chosen by the band to commemorate their first ever gig in Germany (and outside of USA for that matter). The artwork the band submitted was not related to the title either, so I talked them into using this artwork instead - which was my original choice for Rage Within and Aftermath CD by the way, and much more interesting than the photoshoped image they wanted me to use.

So yeah, definitely no relation and definitely nothing Nazi whatsoever.

The pencil sketch was done by Dimitar, and then colored by Tom Martin

I'm biased of course, but I like the new songs quite a lot. They have been recorded completely in analogous way with the band playing together and everything recorded onto multitrack tapes (no pro-tools or other enhancements), so it has this nice warm 80s organic feeling the modern digital recordings lack. Just nice classic American power metal all the way.
