SPACEEATER - Aftershock

Beitragvon Stormspell_Records » 12. Juli 2010, 07:38

Classic Bay Area thrash metal via Belgrade coming soon. Have a glimpse at the artwork (work in progress).

Audio samples to come shortly. Album has just been mastered by Magnus "Devo" Andersson at Endarker Studios in Sweden.

Yes it was, although I hated Deceitful Eyes with its terrible chorus. Cover art looks brilliant btw.
I just hope it's a bit more interesting, musically. The first record was a nice album, but the simplicity of the material got on my nerves after a few spins.

Oh yeah, and another thing, what about those rumours that this band has sympathies towards national socialism and racism?

I think the new album is much stronger - a headbanger's delight from start to finish. I'll up some tunes on myspace soon.

I have no idea where those NS/racist rumors come from. I've met the band last year when they came and played on our THRASH BASH mini-festival and they seemed the most easygoing and nice people I've seen. Never for a second any of them said or did anything to give such impression, and I'm quite sensitive towards such shit. As far as I'm concerned those are just some nice ordinary guys happy to meet people, have some beers, and play thrash.

Luka just sounds like Bosco (R.I.P.). Had to read the booklet twice to discover that this is a new singer.

Yeah, this release was dedicated to the memory of Bojko and therefore his vocals were lifted from the pre-roduction tapes and used on this release. Luka only sung on the last two songs to give idea what's to come with the next album.

But yeah, Luka can sing Bojko's songs and he pulls them amazingly well on stage. In fact SE are the most tight band I've seen playing live, simply amazing and must see!

Bojko was an avid vinyl collector and one of his biggest dreams was to see his music released on vinyl. So we're looking for a vinyl label interested to put this out. If you are interested or know of such label, please let me know, thanks!
