STUTZ - Marching into Hell

Stutz were a brotherhood of warriors, which in 1987 took on a crusade to the fiery pits of Hell to deliver us from evil. Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, their sound can be described as mix between classic Stryper, Dokken, early Armored Saint, and 80s era KISS just to name a few. Melodic, yet with distinctive punch and flare.

To be released in Spring 2011 as part of a box set containing almost everything the band has recorded during the 80s.

Artwork preview (not final, work still in progress):

Iordan, don't get me wrong, but you must be a real brave man to realease a box set from a band that nobody ever heard of...and with a cover like this, wow!! I'm curious to hear some samples though!

I don't think it is any riskier than releasing XINR or NARVAL, or even KINGSBANE as it turned out to be. This band is very interesting, it will appeal to all 80s melodic/hair metal fans, and it will appeal to some Christian metal fans as well. I think the artwork is perfect :tong2:

Anyhow, if I was after "secure" releases which sell good I'd not be releasing arcane demos, but rather would have done what Metal Mind are doing - licensing well-known albums which fetch crazy bucks on eGay. But then, where's the fun in that?

No actual sound samples as we are yet to transfer the master reels and start remastering. However, here are two tunes lifted off the 2" reel tapes:

...and the youtube tag is still not working for me :-X/2

You have to delete the equals sign and all in front of it. For example (of course with an "e" on youtube): [youtub]uUCYAqzunM8[/youtub]
