Warm-Up Show steht jetzt auch fest!



"Before riding into battle for a whole weekend, we are going to have a proper celebration, a chance to sharpen our swords, down a few litres of fermented beverages and discuss the state of heavy
metal music in 2018. What better witness to its rather healthy condition than standard bearers of Finnish steel Chevalier - FIN, who took the world by storm in shortly more than a yea@s time, dropping three gems in the form of two EPs and a split with countrymen Legionnaire. A slightly darker bastard son of Judas Priest, Agent Steel, early Helloween, Brocas Helm and Sortilege, these Finns have the power and the melodies to leave their mark for years to come. One of the most exciting bands around at the moment, mark our words!
A stark contrast to the magnificent, elegiac and sorrowful doom lamentation offered by Italy´s MESSA, whose second full-lenght „Feast for Water“ has just been released on Aural Music.
Expanding on the dark palette of sound of their first offering, „Belfry“, they add more gloom and experimental textures, even lapping on the dark jazzy shores of Bohren & Der Club of Gore before plunging again into the abyss, dragged on by the beautiful voice of singer Sara. Touring together with hardcore/sludge/black metal outfit Discomfort, they will make for an especially tasty package and a proper introduction to Wolf City Fest!

Friends, foes and comrades, we have a further announcement to make. The Norns have been busy spinning a bad thread recently, which resulted in Assassor, drummer for Schafott and Abyssous, injuring his leg and being unable to perform for the time being. Sadly both bands are thus forced to cancel their appereance at Wolf City Fest.
Fear not, for we found a more than worthy replacement for both bands! Berlin underground pillars OCCVLTA and Indian Nightmare heeded the call and came swiftly to the rescue, and we're sure that by the waves of interest these two bands have been generating lately, their presence will be welcomed by many.
Having already performed at the first Live Evil Berlin edition, it will be interesting to see them bringing their craft back to the fest after a couple of years of constant touring and development. Expect great things!
The final running order, bar more twists of Fate, will then be revealed during the course of the week. Stay tuned!
