Blitzkrieg statement February 2012


" Well it has to be said that 2011 has not been the best year in Blitzkriegs history, as a band we have been through bereavement, major surgery, break down in relationships (in more ways than one) delayed house moves, loss of rehearsal space, fall outs and more issues than belong on this statement!! one thing we can say though is we are ready to press on into 2012 and beyond . . . .

As a band we are totally all on the same page and are ready to give this planet A NEW BLITZKRIEG ALBUM during 2012, writing and reaheasals are under way for our as yet, untitled release, at this moment we have not set a release date but please, watch this space for more info . . .

We also plan to revise the website to coincide with our fresh new approach, so again keep checking for updates . . .

The band are now looking forward to closing the previous chapter in our history and opening a new one, we have had some terrible luck but we are ready to press on with renewed vigor and vitality, to repay our loyal fans as they so rightly deserve. . . .

On a final note, Brian, Guy, Ken, Paul and Phil would like to thank you for continuing to support Blitzkrieg, and we looking forward to seeing you across 21012/13 and beyond . . . .

Der Vorabtrack klingt schon mal ganz gut.....

Für mich ein tolles Album, und zusammen mit dem neuen Metal Schorsch wohl mein Trad-Metal-Highlight des Jahres.

Der Titelsong ist dabei eher noch einer der schwächeren Songs. Fabelhaft finde ich den schnellen, ganz leicht thrashigen Rausschmeißer "We Have Assumed Control" und das halb-epische, halb-balladeske "One Last Time":

Die Scheibe brauche ich auch unbedingt, mir haben die neuen Songs schon beim Swordbrothers ziemlich gut gefallen
