Fall Of The Idols - The Seance

Wow, die haben sich aber auch ganz schön gesteigert!
"The Womb Of The Earth" fand ich vor zwei Jahren ganz okay (vllt. muss ich die mal wieder hören), aber das neue Album ist wahrlich ein weiteres Doom-Meisterwerk in diesem Jahr.
Zwar kommt es nicht an die übermenschliche TGOS-Platte heran, aber sie kickt vom ersten Moment an - diese Gitarrenmelodien... *schmelz*

Na endlich merkt's mal einer.
Sowohl vom Songwriting als auch von der Produktion ein Riesenfortschritt. Obwohl der Vorgänger auch schon nicht schlecht war. Am besten sind die tollen Gitarrenmelodien und die zeremonielle, finstere Stimmung.

Joa, my home the Gallows animiert schon ziemlich zum mitmachen, nech? :rolleyes:
Cathedral of Doom und An Age comes to an end sind aber auch verdammt mächtig. Und den Text von Conquerer Worm find ich irgendwie amüsant:

"All roads thy lead to a grave
In deaath we´re all the same
no matter what you´ve earned or found
your carcass will lie rotting in the ground
in the end only death will prevail
all struggle, striving... all in vain
the only hero there is the conquerer worm"

Und abgesehen davon ist die erste Fall of the Idols Platte verdammt großartig! :angry:
Keep Wandering in the Night und Atonement for the One sind für mich Doom- und Drögheitsdefinitionen.

Achja - hat bei euch das Booklet auch ne Seite zuviel? Bei mir ist Cover/Rückseite 2mal drin.
