Also, TYRANT'S REIGN wurde von mir nicht genannt, weil sie so schön rar ist, sondern weil es für mich einfach eine perfekte US-Speedscheibe ist. Punkt. Da bin ich ganz bei COMMANDER Pavlos und Boris mit HEATHENS RAGE.

Aber ich finde die Liste bietet doch bis jetzt einen spannenden Querschnitt durch das, was die Boardler so als Underground sehen. Auf manches wäre ich nie im Leben gekommen... Aber dennoch 48/64 - weitermachen!

@Acrylator: Das "Pflicht" in dem Threadtitel ist natürlich nicht wörtlich zu nehmen, wie kann ein Musikalbum Pflicht sein? Entweder man mag es oder nicht, bzw. kauft es oder nicht.

Danke!!! Der bisher beste Post aus beiden Threads. Bei manch missionarischem Eifer da pack ich mir echt an den Kopf. Nein, ich muss nicht erst 93124 THIN LIZZY und MOTÖRHEAD-LPs im Schrank stehen haben, bevor ich mir dann auch mal VÖs von Bands wie APOCALYPSE, MINDLESS SINNER oder LIEGE LORD (Beispiele völlig willkürlich gewählt) kaufen darf. Ich lass mir doch nicht vorschreiben, was ich gutzufinden habe.

Ansonsten kann ich mich Hades und dem Sarge nur anschließen: supertolle Liste so far. Keine Ahnung, was es da schon wieder zu nölen gibt. Vermutlich hab ich hier am Ende mehr Scheiben von als aus dem anderen Thread, wenns so weitergeht. Was gewisse Leute darüber denken mögen, ist mir so dermaßen AA-egal, wie es egaler schon nicht mehr sein könnte. Ansonsten gilt - um einen Lieblingsspruch eines gewissen Users in abgewandelter Form zu zitieren - einfach mal locker durch die Hose atmen, dann klappts auch mit dem Listen posten im Internet. Vielleicht mit ner Akustic-Version von Slayer oder auch einer Swing-Version vonCloser. Es kann eben nicht jeder die Vorzüge einer kompromisslosen Platte zwischen Speed, Punk und Thrash erkennen und Dawns grandiose Gesangsleistung anerkennen

Überbewertet ist vielleicht eher unpassend, ich glaube so wirklich viele Leute, die das Album abfeiern, gibt es nicht. Ich höre die auch nicht sonderlich oft, aber wenn, packt sie mich doch immer heftig. Ob ich sie jetzt als Pflichtalbum sehen würde sei dahin gestellt...

Eigentlich müsste man die LP außen vorlassen, weil sie so rar ist und deswegen keine Standardscheibe für JEDEN Untergrundmetaller sein kann.
Aber die musikalische Qualität haut mich jedesmal wieder aus den Schuhen.

Aber so rar ist die doch gar nicht, (Bekommt man in der Europäischen Version zumindest durchaus noch für um die 20 - 25,- Euro) jedenfalls sind schon deutlich rarere Scheiben in der Liste.
