Manilla Road - Mark of the Beast CD. The long-awaited release of the lost 1981 2nd album recordings from one of the most unique U.S. metal bands ever! After some 20 years the original demo masters, of what was to become the group's magnificent 2nd album "Dreams of Eschaton," have been unearthed and restored on this double vinyl and single compact disc release!! Included here are the massive 9+ minute epics "Mark of the Beast," "The Avatar," and "Triumvirate" among other all-time Manilla Road classics like "Time Trap" and "Venusian Sea." This release contains some of Mark Shelton's finest guitar and vocal work and bridges the gap between their 70s metal/rock roots and their 80s signature epic metal sound! Featuring artwork by legendary Thin Lizzy artist Jim Fitzpatrick.

Jap, ist genau das Gleiche. Nötig scheint es aber schon zu sein, da das Album momentan vergriffen ist. Erst heute ging ein Exemplar für 35€ über den Auktionstisch. Die LP scheint es beim Label aber noch zu geben!

Der Rerelease wird jedenfalls gekauft.

Konnte sie in der Liste von Listenmeister Siebi nicht finden, habe ich etwas übersehen?

Ich meinte auch nicht, dass sie schon in der Liste war sondern wollte nur wissen, ob da neben dem neuen Labelnamen (denn soweit ich weiß ist ja Rockadrome nur der neue Name von Monster Records) ein weiterer Unterschied zwischen Monster-Release und Rockadrome-Rerelease ist.

THE RODS: Neues Studioalbum kommt im Mai 2011


THE RODS melden sich 25 (!) Jahre seit dem letzten Studioalbum "Heavier Than Thou" (1986) im Mai 2011 mit einem brandneuen Werk zurück. Die Band um Sänger und Gitarrist David Rock Feinstein wird "Vengeance" am 24.05.2011 über die Plattenfirma Niji Entertainment Group auf den Markt bringen.

Als erste Single werden THE RODS das Lied 'The Code' auskoppeln, das eine der letzten Gesangaufnahmen der verstorbenen Metal-Legende Ronnie James Dio enthält. David Rock Feinstein ist der Cousin des verstorbenen Sängers.

Die Tracklist von "Vengeance" sieht folgendermaßen aus:
