Nette ep mit guten Songs, höre ich mir immer wieder gerne an.

Ihr erstes demo sollte eigentlich auch als tape wiederveröffentlicht werden, aber da hat sich bis heute leider nichts getan.

Die Iberer AGGRESSION haben für mich eins der besten Alben der NWoTM abgeliefert ("Moshpirit") und kündigen nun, nach Besetzung- und Kurswechsel, ihr zweites Album "Viocracy" für 2012 an (Xtreem Music).



"The reformed Spanish thrashers AGGRESSION, are finalizing their long waited second full-length, after their acclaimed debut “Moshpirit”, that was released on September 2009.

In this second album, that will receive the name of “Viocracy”, there will be able to appreciate clearly a music style readjustment, oriented to a most technical, eclectic and progressive Thrash Metal, but without losing the first album essence.

Those changes have been enhanced with the entry of the new members, who help the band to acquire a technical and musical level never seen before in the band’s history.

Actually, this is the AGGRESSION’s line-up:
- Pol Luengo (Guitar and lead vocals)
- Oscar Reka (Guitar and back vocals)
- Carlos Leonardo (Bass and back vocals)
- Jose Rosendo (Drums)

The recording, the mix and the mastering of “Viocracy”, will be done during this fall. The recording will be performed in Sweet Home Studios (Barcelona) on September, and the mix and the mastering will be done again (just like the first album) by the young producer Erik Monsonis.

The album will also include a cover of the classic “YYZ” from the legendary progressive rock band RUSH, from their highly acclaimed album “Moving Pictures”.

The track list of “Viocracy” is going to be the following:

The cover of the album has been designed by the renowned German illustrator Eliran Kantor, who has worked with bands like SODOM, ATHEIST, TESTAMENT, etc.

klingt aber wie das übliche Promogeschwätz, wenn man sich von den Wurzeln entfernen will. Hoffentlich kein Hinweis auf Modern Metal Bullshit.

Höre mir gerade auf youtube "Locust" an und dachte schon , aber wenn du schreibst dass der Rest ganz anders ist bin ich sehr gespannt auf das Album.

Auf die ANTICHRIST freue ich mich sehr - tolle Band. Hatte auf der vorigen Seite ja schon ein paar Demo-Songs gepostet.
DR. LIVING DEAD - naja...
MACHINE HEAD ist schon gekauft. Der Bericht im Rock Hard bestätigt ja deine Einschätzung.

Also die DR. LIVING DEAD finde ich vollkommen geil, fand auch schon die EPs super, ist total authentischer 80's thrash mit leichtem Crossover Touch a la alte ANTHRAX, S.O.D. und SUICIDAL TENDENCIES

Ich fand schon die Demos nicht toll. Crossover-Thrash ist (bis auf Ausnahmen) generell nicht so meins.

Wobei bei den Schweden der Crossover Anteil schon extrem gering ist.
