Die Aufnahmen für The hourglass effect haben sich länger hingezogen als erwartet, aber für die britisch-amerikanische Powermetalband um Gitarristenpaar Nicki Robson und Chris Allen steht jetzt den Mix an, wie Nicki gerade berichtete.
Nicki: 'We go to Thin Ice Studios tomorrow to complete vocals. We've just a few things to add and one of our friends, Julia, is laying down some female vocal parts. All the guitars are done and dusted! So I think Karl may start mixing maybe next week, depending if the keyboards are done.'
'I can assure you the wait is killing us! Karl has had loads of other deadlines to complete as well. So now the time has come for us to get this album once and for all available for the listener.'
Da die Songs die SK - noch mit Ronnie Stixx als Sänger - vor geräumer Zeit schon live gebracht haben, einfach killten und ex-Angel Witch-Mann Richie Wicks auf demselben Niveau agiert, wird die lange Wartezeit sich lohnen. Es erwartet uns ein reinrassiges US-Metalmeisterstück, mit Nicki und Chris' Filigranriffing, vielen Doppelleads und einer major Produktion.
