Sacred Metal-Board

Freut mich, war eine Killer-Band und ist es dann hoffentlich auch heute noch:

Acclaimed late '80s/early '90s Corpus Christi, Texas thrashers DEVASTATION have reformed and are planning a European tour. The band ? which released its debut LP, "Violent Termination", on their own Zombo Records in 1987, and two subsequent LPs (1989's "Signs of Life" and 1991's "Idolatry") on the Combat label ? toured North America extensively during its five-year run with the likes of LAAZ ROCKIT, SEPULTURA, DARK ANGEL, DEATH, DEMOLITION HAMMER and MALEVOLENT CREATION but has never managed to make it overseas ? until now.

DEVASTATION's 2008 lineup consists of Rodney Dunsmore on vocals, Henry Elizondo on guitar, Alex Dominguez on bass and former ROTTING CORPSE/DEATH member Walter Trachsler on guitar. The band is currently auditioning drummers and is planning some late fall warm-up shows.

Auf meinem ersten, richtig großen Konzert sollten DEVASTATION als Vorband auf der MORGOTH & MASSACRE Tour mitspielen. Leider taten sie es nicht. Es wäre wirklich schön, wenn ich diese Band mal Live erleben dürfte.
Dürfte sicherlich auch für's KIT oder Thrash Assault interessant sein.

Die Tour war hammergeil, nur Immolation interessierte mich als ERsatz von DEVASTATION überhaupt nicht.

Aber diese IMMOLATION hatten nix mit den ehemaligen RIGOR MORTIS zu tun, oder doch?
