Hello,

this is the latest TOM demo tape called "Storms Over Hellespond". It's sole purpose is to get feedback for the upcoming vinyl releases. The best song from this demo will be included on the vinyl.

Due to financial limitations the band cannot send the tapes directly to their contacts this time around. I got 7 tapes which I'll forward to the first 7 people to claim and cover the shipping cost. Please claim by sending e-mail to metal@stormspell.com, no PMs, thanks.

The only requirement is that you have to e-mail me back and let me know which song in your opinion should make it on the album.

Postage: $4 USA and CANADA / $6 Europe, please be prepared to pay via paypal, thanks.

I've got a good idea, why don't you release all their stuff, so that all non enlightened ones are able to hear the suff
I only have mp3's of their album but would love to see everything getting released in a propper way

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only label which had offered this to them, but they don't want to. they just enjoy playing for fun and giving their music for free.

BTW all tapes are gone, thanks and don't forget to let me know which song you think is the best one.

So why don't they put up a homepage then, where people can download their stuff in 320 kpps quality for free??? They surely know how much collectors spent to get one of the vinyl copies. Very strange band indeed, but also very good!!!!!!

It is unbelievable how much interest this band generates. Perhaps I should put all 4 songs on the flash player so everyone can check em out and vote for the best one...

I guess they are very old school and want to release their music on analog medium only. I've offered a variant to make CDs which I can give out as free bonuses with my orders, but they wasn't interested even in that. They are very polite, but firm in their way of making and distributing their music.

The problem is just that the lack of official releases will sooner or later cause cheap bootlegs of the Tales of Medusa Records.

Right!!!! But there's another point. I would buy a well made boot, like with other releases in the past (see ICE AGE). I hate boots, but if I have no other choice. and a well made boot is better that having the songs only in mp3 formate......

I think the band is aware of that, but it is their own decision so... I personally would put their first album on CD in a heartbeat if given the chance.

I would love to have something from Tales of Medusa, but unfortunately i never got an answer from the Mail Adress a guy in another Metal Forum told me.
The Song i can hear above is real great.
And as Rapanzel said, when i would have the chance to buy a well made bootleg, i would buy it.

I just listened to the upload from Iordan and I have to say that this is the best demo of TOM till now. Great atmospheric but still crushing metal as it should be. I wish more bands would be inspired like TOM..
