Klingt moderner als die ersten VÖs, hat aber Eier ohne Ende.
Sänger und Gitarren sind mega, die Melodien könnten für meinen Geschmack aber etwas besser sein, die Refrains enttäuschen beim ersten Lausch etwas. Trotzdem erinnert mich das total an die Anfangs90er Demophase.

Oh, da singt jetzt Scott Featherstone von Enertia? Klasse, ich liebe den Typen.

Das Ganze klingt jetzt mit ihm auch ziemlich nach Enertia was in meinem Falle durchaus positiv zu sehen ist. Sind wirklich ein paar starke Songs geworden. Wenn Dir das gut reinläuft Ulle, dann solltest Du auch unbedingt noch einmal die Enertia-Alben oder die letzte Division antesten, das geht in eine sehr ähnliche Richtung.

Endlich wieder ein Lebenszeichen von Scot Featherstone. Die Stimme haut mich jedesmal um.

Starke songs...aber das sind nicht ION VEIN,,, oh Gott, der Gesang ist stark aber zu brutal-Enertia, die wurden auch immer schlechter, das Mausoleom-Teil ist ja nur noch groove.

ION VEIN: New Album Release Date Revealed

Chicago based metallers, ION VEIN, will release their self-titled third album on July 4 in Europe and July 8 in North America, via Mortal Music/MVD Audio in both CD and digital formats.

The long awaited follow up to 2003’s “Reigning Memories” was once again produced, recorded, and mixed by Neil Kernon (Judas Priest, Nevermore, Redemption) and is the first full length album with vocalist, Scott Featherstone, whom the band first debuted on the IV v1.0 and IV v2.0 three song digital EPs released in September 2011 and December 2012 respectively. Additionally, the six songs from those EPs have been re-mixed/re-mastered for inclusion on the full album.

ION VEIN's self-titled new album, which will feature 12 songs varying in dynamic intensity,
shows the band re-tooled, re-focused and re-energized – in a way that it captures the essence of their song-oriented and technically-skilled metal very well. Also, the top notch production drives these pounding, meaty canvases – from the opening track “Fools Parade” to the closer “Twist of Fate” – that cut into the very core of your soul, while breathing new life into today's world of music. Klingt gut, aber nicht wie Ion Vein ...

Ich sag zu den neuen IV mal lieber nichts. Und der Verzicht auf Meinungsäußerung erhöht die Wahrscheinlichkeit meines Verbleibens im board, das mir so ans Herz gewachsen ist.

Ich bin eigentlich sehr tolerant.

Das glaube ich Dir gerne, nur hat das Eine mit dem Anderen nichts zu tun. Denk Dir einfach Deinen Teil.
