Zufällig entdeckt, dass diese qualitative wie untypische - da stark am schwedischen Sound orientierte - US Death Metal Band schon nächstes Monat durch Europa touren wird. Wien ist dabei, ein paar deutsche Städt ebenso. Wer old-school DM mit einer extra Portion Brutalität zugeneigt ist und die Möglichkeit hat, einen der Gigs zu besuchen - hingehn, so oft sind die nicht bei uns.
Die zweite Band der Tour, eine jüngere DM-Band aus Dänemark namens Undergang, sagte mir bisher nichts, könnte eventuell eine Spur zu monoton werden, klingt aber dennoch ganz gut.

Killtown Bookings is proud to present the very first European tour for old schoold Death Metal legends FUNEBRARUM!. They played a one-off European show at this years Kill-Town Death Fest in Denmark and also performed at Maryland Death Fest during 2011. FUNEBRARUM features current and ex-members of Disma, Evoken, Goreaphobia, Incantation, Assück and Citizens Arrest and are currently working on material for a new 7" ep and their third album which will be released on Cyclone Empire.

Joining them on tour will be the ultra heavy Danish trio, UNDERGANG, who since the release of their 2010 debut album “Indhentet af Døden” have gotten a lot of attention in the Death Metal underground. On the tour UNDERGANG will be promoting their second full length album entitled “Til Døden Os Skiller”, scheduled to be released on February 1st of 2012 by Xtreem Music.
