SOOOOO, nach dem ganzen Hickhack beim SBF geb ich zur "Goddess Principle"-LP mal ne Stellungsnahme ab. Das Mr. Kachinsky kein einfacher Fall ist, ist dem einen oder anderen ja bekannt. Es gab deswegen auch von unserer Seite erstmal keine weiteren News zu der Sache, weil wir das mit Steve auf dem SBF selber entgültig klären wollten. Da der gute Mann es aber nicht nötig hatte aufzutauchen, hatte sich dieser Plan erledigt.

Wie wir weiterhin feststellen durften, hat die gesamte anwesende Band von der Vinylausgabe von "Inner Ascendance" überhaupt nichts gewußt und nur mit großen Augen dreingeblickt(Dank an denjenigen der mich am Stand darauf aufmerksam gemacht hat). Das bedeutet dann wohl im Klartext das sich der gute Steve die gesamte Lizensierungs-Kohle selber eingestrichen hat + alle Exemplare, die für ihn + die Band von uns rübergeschickt wurden. Volker hat daraufhin den Jungs natürlich noch ein Exemplar für jeden in die Hand gedrückt. Das man solche Art von Machanschaften weder verstehen noch nachvollziehen kann, sollte jedem einleuchten.

Eine weitere Zusammenarbeit verbietet sich daher von selbst und somit wird es keine weitere LP-Ausgabe geben. Tut mir leid für alle, die sich drauf gefreut haben, aber ich denke die Gründe sind nachvollziehbar. Was mich jetzt interessieren würde ist, ob das bei der "Shallows of forever" Pressung genauso gelaufen ist.

Ist ja krass, ich kann so ein Verhalten (wie das von Steve) echt nicht nachvollziehen!

Aber musikalisch ist die Band für mich eh schon lange gestorben...

Dann bin ich ja froh, am Samstag noch schnell eine "Inner Ascendence" LP gekauft zu haben...obwohl, wahrscheinlich sieht von der Band niemand was von dem Geld das ich bezahlt habe, außer Kachinsky.
Wenn man schon Kachinsky heißt, klingt wie Kaczynski, das sollte einem zu denken geben.

Ich find das Debut von Steel Prophet ja saustark, kann die "Inner Ascendance" denn da mithalten? Oder gibt es möglicherweise sogar ein paar Hörproben (Myspace etc. p.p.), damit ich in die Songs mal reinhören kann?

Wenn dir "The Goddess Principle" gefällt, kann es bei "Inner Ascendance" definitiv nicht anders sein, diese beiden Aufnahmen (+ evtl. die "Continuum" MCD) definieren für mich STEEL PROPHET in Bestform.
Die Produktion bei "Inner Ascendance" finde ich übrigens sogar etwas besser als die vom offiziellen Debüt.

Die Inner Ascendance Demo kann nicht nur mithalten, sondern ist sogar noch besser. Absolut perfekter US Metal, kannst du bedenkenlos kaufen.

Die Demo ist auch auf dieser Compilation CD mit drauf, aber die LP ist natürlich schöner.

And exactly 7 hours ago, Rick wrote that he's got some free time and wants to get over to L.A. in order to do some recordings for Steel Prophet and Masters Of Metal. Shortly after that, he posted: "Just got through talking with Vince, lookin' like a possible road trip folks"

Now doesn't that sound like some great news?

Hello Steel Heads !


I know this is something unusual but we are searching for ways to make it happen that Steel Prophet can play on a Special European Festival in 2012 with an Old School Headline Set.

Because this is not one of the really big Festivals like Wacken, etc., the Promoters from the Festival we are in talks with right now have to handle the Booking and Payment of the Bands very carefully to be on the safe side financially.

Of course there are costs like Hotels, Catering, a Shuttle Transfer Service from the Airport to the Festival Location and back and finally the flights which is the biggest amount.

It would be easy to add Steel Prophet to the Festival if they already had touring plans in Europe around the time of the festival, so the Flights from the US to Europe wouldn’t be necessary but this is not the case here.

The Festival Promoters are willing to take most of the costs, but are still a little short of ALL the costs.

The shortfall is about equal to the cost of 1 flight from the USA to Europe which is between 1000 - 1300 € ( which is like something between 1350 - 1800 $ ).

If we would only get 40 people to donate a max. of 50 $ ( for example ) it would be enough to make this thing happen.

As the Admin of this site have already transferred 250 $ from my Bank Account to Paypal to help support this. So now we are asking you Fans to help make this happen and raise the money! money !
