The Kingdom Of Steel store / Merchandisestand wird auf dem Provissirock 2009 in Seinajoki, Finnland, Hellfest in Clisson, Frankreich, Metalway Festival in Saragossa, Spanien, B'estfest Aftershock in Bukarest, Rumänien, Norway Rock Festival in Kvindesal und auf dem Magic Circle Festival III auf der Loreley am Rhein in Deutschland zu finden sein.

Aufgrund der bevorstehenden Tour werden die letzten Online-Bestellungen am 5. Juni versandt. Online Bestellungen werden weiterhin entgegengenommen, jedoch erst zum 1. August versandt. Der Onlinekundenservice wird während der gesamten Tour allen Bestellern zur Verfügung stehen.

The new EP

Unfortunately the upcoming full-length album couldn’t see the light of day the before the festival. However, the bassist knew to announce the release of an EP preliminary on the new album: ”We will release a six-track EP, five of which are new and from the upcoming album.” We assume that the only none-new track is ‘Die With Honour’; the song that appeared as a one-track fan promo that was give away for free during last year’s festival.

One of the things that makes this EP even more special, is the fact that it will contain a bonus CD of the song ‘Father’; the first song recorded for the upcoming album. What makes this special is that the songs is recorded in sixteen (!!!) different languages so far and that all the sixteen versions will be available on the bonus CD. This without doubt is something never done before by any metal band and once again proves Manowar of being one of the most creative bands and pioneers is many ways. ”The song will be included on the album, in English, so the bonus CD with all the languages is an extra special piece of music history available for the best fans in the world. The EP and bonus CD will be released for the first time at the festival.”, Joey adds.

The song has been sung by Eric Adams, with the assistance of fans worldwide, in: English, German, Italian, Hungarian, Romanian, Bulgarian, Norwegian, Spanish, French, Greek, Turkish, Polish, Japanese, Croatian, Portugese and Finnish! It is also planned to record and release the song in Dutch, Swedish, Russian and several other languages after the tour.

On the musical direction of the new songs/album, Joey had already mentioned in several interviews that although the concept is again highly epic, the music will be less epic and orchestral than the last album ‘Gods Of War’: “We are coming back with all the power and might of Thor, the God of Thunder, whose hammer will be the conductor for the sound of heavy metal MANOWAR style!”. Seeing the sneak preview of one of the new songs, we can only conclude that the King of Metal is speaking nothing but the truth.

das es aber immer einen Grund gibt, warum ANDERE Bands so einen Quatsch nicht machen, haben sie mal wieder unterschlagen. Mich wundert ja eigentlich, dass sie nicht auch 16 verschiedene Bonus CDs veröffentlichen ...

das is ja so neu auch nicht. sabbat performen ihren song black fire auch in verschiedenen sprachen, aber die packen das ganze dann wenigstens nicht auf eine platte und labern dann nicht son quatsch, von wegen beweis für die höchste kreativität und das sonst niemand so toll ist und sowas macht.

Und wenn man dann alle 16 CDs nebeneinanderlegt, dann erhält man den 1:1 Starschnitt von Joey´s P........eh, lassen wir das.

Ich jedenfalls bin mal gespannt auf die Qualität der 5 neuen Songs. Und ob sich DeMaio die ganzen Kritiker diesmal zu Herzen genommen hat.

jetzt mal angenommen die bringen doch wieder ein richtig gutes album zustande. was dann,wer von den usern hier kauft sich das teil dann doch weil letztlich gute musik gute musik bleibt. egal was die herren MANOWAR sonst so verzapfen ?

jetzt mal angenommen die bringen doch wieder ein richtig gutes album zustande. was dann,wer von den usern hier kauft sich das teil dann doch weil letztlich gute musik gute musik bleibt. egal was die herren MANOWAR sonst so verzapfen ?

Also der Manuel kauft sich jeden Manowar Release..
