Der Einfluß MANOWARs auf die Rock Musik ist nicht zu verleugnen. Während ihrer beeindruckenden Karriere hat die Band dem Heavy Metal durch eine Kombination aus einzigartigen Musikern und charakteristischem Songwriting ihren Stempel aufgedrückt. Mit Überzeugung, Beharrlichkeit und dem Mut, unbeirrbar ihren eigenen Weg zu gehen, meisterte die Band immer wieder auch scheinbar unüberwindbare Hürden. In einer Zeit, in der Casting-Show-Gewinner und leichte Popsongs dominieren, geben MANOWAR ihren Fans das, was diese seit jeher an ihnen schätzen: echten, wahren Metal. Sich auf ihren Lorbeeren auszuruhen fällt dieser Band aber nicht ein, und so findet sie immer wieder innovative Ansätze, um den Geist des Heavy Metal lebendig zu halten.

Immer offen dafür, eingetretene Pfade zu verlassen, sprengt das neueste Projekt der vier Amerikaner traditionelle Musik-Grenzen: zusammen mit Deutschlands erfolgreichstem Fantasy-Autor Wolfgang Hohlbein erschaffen sie "The Asgard Saga", ein multimediales Action-Abenteuer, das über verschiedene Medien hinweg auf nie dagewesene Weise die nordische Mythologie interpretiert. Im Frühjahr 2010 erscheint Hohlbeins erster Band der "Asgard Saga", in deren Zentrum der legendäre Donnergott Thor steht. "Hammer Of The Gods", nach einer exklusiv für diesen Zweck geschriebenen Geschichte Hohlbeins, wird das erste Konzeptalbum sein, das MANOWAR zu "The Asgard Saga" veröffentlichen werden.

Die im Sommer 2009 veröffentlichte EP "Thunder In The Sky", die mit schnellen, harten Nummern wie "Let The Gods Decide" oder "God Or Man" in bester MANOWAR Tradition aufwartet, bietet einen Vorgeschmack darauf, wie "Hammer Of The Gods" Hohlbeins actionreiche Story musikalisch interpretieren wird.

Im Januar 2010 beweisen MANOWAR dann erneut, warum sie zu den besten Live-Bands der Szene zählen: Auf der "Death to Infidels Tour 2010" - ihrer ersten Hallen-Tour in Deutschland seit 2007 - werden MANOWAR ihren Fans wieder kräftig einheizen und mit Klassikern und neuesten Songs im unvergleichlichen MANOWAR-Stil die Erde zum Beben bringen. Als Special Guests präsentieren die Durchstarter HOLYHELL sowie die deutsche True Metal Bastion METALFORCE ihre neuesten Alben, bevor es wieder heißt: "Ladies and Gentlemen: From the United States of America...all hail: MANOWAR"

MANOWAR To Headline MAGIC CIRCLE FESTIVAL At METALCAMP 2010 - Nov. 1, 2009
On July 11, Magic Circle Festival IV will take place at Metalcamp 2010 in Tolmin, Slovenia. Located in the heart of Europe, only 95 kilometers from Ljubljana (Slovenia), 97 kilometers from Udine (Italy), 105 kilometers from Villach (Austria) and 240 kilometers from Zagreb (Croatia), this partnership with Metalcamp celebrates the first Magic Circle Festival outside German territory. The show coincides with the final game of the FIFA World Cup in South Africa, which will be broadcast LIVE at the event on a gigantic screen. Immediately following the game, MANOWAR hits the stage!

The World Cup/concert combination promises to make "Magic Circle Festival at Metalcamp 2010" the greatest football-meets-metal party ever for those in attendance!

In addition to MANOWAR, special guests include Magic Circle Music recording artists HOLYHELL and METALFORCE. Other acts and program details to be announced soon.

The Magic Circle Festival featuring the kings of metal Manowar will extend Metal Camp.



We are proud to announce a ‘very special guest' who will destroy Tolmin on Sunday, 11th of July 2010 - the day after regular METALCAMP ends - the biggest real TRUE METAL band in the world - the mighty Kings Of Metal MANOWAR and their Magic Circle Festival!


A collaboration which has never happened before - a Festival joins forces with another Festival.

Joey DeMaio himself heard about the wonderful METALCAMP and from that moment on he realized that this is the best place in the world to have a Magic Circle Festival in 2010 - so we started discussions...


We loved the idea of presenting to our loyal METALCAMPERS the real ‘Kings Of Metal' and to the MANOWARRIORS of the world the wonderful METALCAMP. So we sat together and started to discuss how we could make this happen. It was not easy; it needed compromises and new ideas. But where there's a will, there's a way, and so we finally came to an agreement.

So we now have an extended METALCAMP, with the Magic Circle Festival added as an extra option for all you METALCAMPERS out there. This is how we keep it up to you guys - you decide if you want to stay for 1 or 6 days. Anything you want is possible. More metal is always better!

As we all know, the football world cup final game will also be on 11th July. We will broadcast the final game, during that time there will be no program on both stages and after the game MANOWAR will celebrate with you and show you who the kings of METAL truly are. We promise - this will be an absolutely magic moment - a day to remember.

More artists and events are still to be confirmed for both stages on that day - so stay tuned.


Continuing in the tradition of the Magic Circle Festival, MANOWAR will do an autograph session on Friday 9th of July as well all of the crazy activities you've come to know and love about the Magic Circle Festival. So don't miss this chance to meet and talk to the Kings Of Metal.


Tickets for the "Magic Circle Festival at Metalcamp" on Sunday, 11th July cost € 60 and will also be limited to 12,000.
