Hab's grad aufgelegt. Ganz gross. Bis vor ein paar Jahren konnte ich mit St. Vitus gar nix anfangen, mittlerweile kann ich nicht mehr ohne.

John Lutzow von Leviathan, Fabien Madeleine von In The Name, der bereits zu Recht abgefeierte Walkyer und Jim Matheos schrieben bzw. schreiben Texte mit denen ich etwas anfangen kann. Von der neueren Generation finde ich John Corbett (Hammers Of Misfortune) und Pamela J. Berlinghoff (Twilight Odyssey) recht talentiert.

So, jetzt hasst ihr mich gleich wieder:
IMO:
- schreiben die Apokalyptischen Reiter klasse Texte, die sowohl auf den ersten Blick rein von der Sprache her klasse sind und auch wenn man nach Tifgang sucht ebenfalls genial sind. Bsp. "Paradies"
- Ähnlich geht es mir mit Eisregen, ich mag diese morbide Poesie, die auch fast immer sozialkritisch zu interpretieren ist. Bsp. "KK" Titelsong des indizierten/verbotenen Albums mit den zwei K
- Rammstein fallen auch in die Riege derer, die sehr gute Texte schreiben und mit platten Texten zu provozieren wissen, was an dieser Stelle auch genauso gewollt ist.
- Kreator haben soweit ich mich mit den Texten befasst habe immer klasse Texte vorzuweisen, wie ja auch das letzte Album schön zeigte.
- Absolut genial fand ich auch "Scar Sprangled Banner" und "War Is My Shepphard" von Exodus, da denke ich würde es sich ebenfalls lohnen sich näher mit den Texten zu befassen
- Die Texte von Marilyn Manson finde in der Regel auch ziemlich genial - ich sage nur "But I'm not a slave to a god - that doesn't exist - But I'm not a slave to a world - that doesn't give a shit"
