Immer geil.

Oh please, don't tell me ...

Aber was solls.

Yes, they also said they will play some songs from Journey into Fear.

I have just read this...

There is the original Malice and then there is the new copy version of MALICE which is Jay Reynolds pet fiasco project with a new singer and other members he befriended at Walmart in Portland.

The whole point of reuniting the original MALICE with core writing members Mick Zane and Mark Behn, was to make the band better than they were back in the day live. Hence forth the reason to replace Cliff Caruthers with Pete Holmes and add a singer such a Ripper Owens and a new guitarist to complete the pro line up.

No holes, no flat tires, no drama just head splitting Malice metal the way it should be performed. Now former rythm guitarist Jay Reynolds has taken it upon himself to book the band as MALICE and hire James Rivera ( Hellstar, Vicious Rumors ). James did a great job on the VR record but he's an asshole and sings flat live. A poor replacement for the legacy of original singer James Neal who chooses not to perform anymore.

Although he came up with the name MALICE, Jay has no right to play material that isn't his. He only wrote a couple tunes with the band and hardly played on either of the records including License to Kill which Max Norman just booted him out of the studio. Jay means well but he's a poor guitar player and an adict more focused on greasing his habit than honoring the music.

A few of the reasons the original Malice broke up was because of shady management and problems with members maintaining their shit together. So just a fair warning if you go see MALICE in Europe. It's a lesser copy version just like Guns n Roses after Slash and Duff split. Just throw some a giant pill on Jays side of the stage.

Original guitarist Mick Zane, bassist Mark Behn and drummer Pete Holmes ( MSG ) have contacted Tim the Ripper Owens regarding his interest in doing some shows with MALICE and possibly a new record. Thats something you'd want to camp out for metal maniacs!

Cheers!

Brigitte-Wahnsinn at Lauda!!

:yeah:

I have met James a few times and also saw him live and he was always very kind and sang great. So I rather think this Webmaster-Guy is an a**hole.
But besides that I am also interested which version of Malice is booked.

I read this for the first time and I booked Malice through Jay Reynolds. I had contact with Zane and Behn before and they did not wanted to play unless they get an insane amount of money and would only do that because of the money, cause they told me they aren't interested in the music anymore, cause they got well paid jobs. So I took the chance and took Jays offer, which will be great. I guess the webmaster statement says all ybout the integrity of this webmaster guy..

He sings great but I also think he is quite an as**le... Always after every girl in the hall...

Anyway, I'm quite tired of Ripper and Rivera on voice. They always sing everywhere and their voices are to particular to fit in every band.
It's much better to look for somebody so not well known (as Fifth Angel did)
