Obwohl ich 40€ schon eher viel finde. Da muss ich echt überlegen, ob es mir das wert ist, egal ob das nun unplugged und in ner Kirche ist oder nicht.

40 Euro ist hart an der Grenze, aber die letzten Werke OPETHs -und eben ganz speziell die "Heritage"- finde ich einfach nur wunderbar schön...

Bin gespannt wieviele "Spaßvögel" mit "Jesus is a cunt" Shirts auftauchen....

Bin mal gespannt wie dieses "in a somewhat different direction" klingen wird. Wäre schade, wenn die Band den neu beschrittenen Pfad wieder verlässt.

Wurde in dem Interview auch erwähnt, wann denn die Reise ungefähr weitergeht?

Loud: You're actually working on new stuff at the moment. How long is it going to be before we see a new OPETH album?

Fredrik: The plan is to try and record at the end of September, when we're done with all the touring. This is the longest break we've had between albums. I think the longest break we had before this was before "Watershed". It's not gonna happen this year, most likely the year after.

Ich hoffe auch, daß sich die Band sich nicht allzu weit von "Heritage" entfernt. Wieder einmal neue Impulse wäre natürlich stark, aber da das letzte Album mit weitem Abstand mein Favorit von OPETH ist, wenn man das nict übertreiben würde. Sollten da mehr Einflüsse aus den 70ern Verwendung finden ( außer Disco oä ), wäre das sicher interessant. Wobei ich ja nie so der Überfan der Band war, erst mit "Heritage" haben sie mich so richtig erwischt; davor hab ich mir gerade mal die "Ghost Reveries" ins Regal gestellt. Letztere geht mit zeitweise super rein,dann wieder gar nicht. Aber "Heritage" ist ein Dauerbrenner...
