NIA 002 - MANILLA ROAD / BROCAS HELM

It's an incredible honour to announce the two bands for the upcoming Live at Keepi it True Split 7". None other than the living legends MANILLA ROAD and BROCAS HELM have agreed to take part in this venture!

MANILLA ROAD will be featured with their breathtaking performance of "Road of Kings" during Keep it True II

BROCAS HELM will be featured with a song from their awesome show at KIT I yet to be decided upon. Check the Grand Prize Competiton in the other Blog Post above for more info on this one.

The MANILLA ROAD / BROCAS HELM-Split will be a vinyl 7" in a gatefold cover limited to only 500 pieces. The release date will be at Keep it True Festival VIII in April 2007.

Disciples of the New Iron Age,

with the coming KIT VIII ever drawing nearer, the time hath come to announce the tracks to be featured on the upcoming split 7" by MANILLA ROAD and BROCAS HELM.

Side A: MANILLA ROAD - Death by the Hammer (live at Keep it True II)

Side B: BROCAS HELM - Ravenwreck (live at Keep it True I)

The Split 7" goes by the name "CLASH OF IRON VOL. I - Live at Keep it True" and will be available at the 14th of April 2007 (at KIT). Released in corporation with the KIT-Team it will be the first in a series of Split 7"s capturing legendary live performances by renowned underground heroes at the KIT-Festivals. Coming in an gatefold-sleeve with exclusive artwork it will be a collector's time in no time. Be sure to grab yours, as soon as it's released (special wholesale prices for traders - contact us!).

Die Manilla Road Seite sieht cool aus, aber für Brocas Helm hättet ihr ruhig 'n cooleres Motiv nehmen können als 'nen schwarzen Klecks...

Ich hab's ja gewusst, dass das nicht gut ankommen wird!

Aber nein, die anderen haben gemeint, dass das intellektuell und künstlerisch ansprechend wirkt. Der schwarze Klecks als Reflektion des latenten Thanatos-Dranges in der Musik von Brocas Helm im Kontrast zur lebensbejahenden Attitüde von Manilla Roads "Death by the Hammer".
