Von Motörhead müssen mindestens 4 Alben rein: Overkill, Ace Of Spades, No Sleep 'Til Hammersmith und Bastards. Da von Seiten der Jury Live-Alben nicht erwünscht sind, bleiben die anderen drei. Bastards als "metallischtes", härtestest und düsterstes Motörhead-Album ist aus zweierlei Gründen wichtig: Erstens weil es musikalisch absolut top ist. Unglaublicher Groove, tolle Hooklines, grandiose erzböse Lyrics. Zweitens weil es ähnlich wie Priests Painkiller wohl den letzten großen musikalischen Höhepunkt einer alteingesessenen Rock-Legende markiert. Auf dem Scheitelpunkt der Welle, im Angesicht der 90er Jahre Götterdämmerung sozusagen. Zwar kann man dagegenhalten, dass Motörhead ja dann knapp 15 Jahre später mit Inferno dann doch noch einen 5. Frühling hatten, aber das ist dann wohl, trotz seiner Klasse, kaum mehr als Pflichtalbum zu sehen.

Hat eigentlich jemand das Buch vom RockHard mit den besten 500 Metal/Rock Scheiben und kann zum Vergleich mal die ersten 100 Plätze posten? Ich würde mal schätzen, dass dort gar keine so großen Unterschiede sind...(ist nicht wertend gemeint)

Hm, ich weiĂź nach der Streichliste ehrlich gesagt nicht mehr so recht auf was Du (PPP) eigentlich hinaus willst.
Bei manchen Sachen kann ich nachvollziehen, dass sie raus fliegen (obwohl sie gut sind), z.B. Lethal - Programmed, die zwar sehr geil ist, aber eigentlich nur das weiterfĂĽhrt was Queensryche auf The Warning gemacht haben, die ja dafĂĽr auch drin blieb.
Dass dann fĂĽr mein Empfinden essentielle Alben wie Forbidden - Forbidden Evil rausfliegen und dafĂĽr Malmsteen rein kommt mag zu dem gedachten Konzept passen, aber ich muss zugeben, dass mir dann nicht mehr klar ist, was das Konzept ist.
