Die Bay Area-Legende Anvil Chorus ist endlich auf MySpace gelandet. Nach der ersten Reunionsphase scheint die Band es tatsächlich nochmal wissen zu wollen.
Wird ein alter US-Metaltraum wahr und eines Tages nochmal ein offizielles Album dieser edlen Truppe erscheinen? Auf jeden Fall hätten Tracks wie 'Once again' (die B-Seite der mythischen 'Blondes in black'-Single), 'Blue flames' und 'Bow to the Church of Metal' es verdient, nach mehr als 25 Jahren in ansprechendem Audioformat zu erscheinen.

Recording Update
The recording of The Album That Never Was continues...Aaron and Thaen have been getting together regularly to track vocals and have completed some great sounding shit for "Blue Flames", "Death of a Dream",and "Deadly Weapons". In the works are a killer version of "Red Skies", which will mark the first time this tune was ever fully recorded. Doug is due to add some guitar to several tunes, while Joe has begun the drum work on "European", which we have decided to include due to popular demand. More keyboard work will be added as soon as Phil returns from touring. We can assure you that all the tracks are sounding huge - modernized, while retaining their original flair. Stay in touch for more progress reports.

Nach langer langer Zeit endlich wieder eine Anvil Chorus news
The Recording Continues...
UPDATE! Since the last blog post we have been getting some important sessions completed. Thaen and Aaron have been particularly busy arranging and recording vocals for several songs. Thaen has been layering some massive guitar parts and Joe has completed the last of the drum tracks. Some of Doug's guitar parts have yet to be recorded and Phil still has some important keys to add to the mix. Nonetheless, all the old songs have been given a new breath of life with some changes in arrangement, attitude, and overall hugeness. We are currently making fast progress on "European", "After Time", "Such is Life", and "Phase to Phase" which promises the final product to contain the wide variety of sound AC was always capable of, and known for.Please stay patient, as this is truly for you, the folks who always recognized our passion for originality and have championed the AC name for over two decades.

Almost Complete!
